Lolly has been a military wife for 18 years and lived all over the globe -from California to Hawaii to Texas to Germany to Colorado. The upside to living all over the place and what she is most grateful for is the chance to widen their circle of family and friends. Da and Lolly were both only children, so being part of the clan has gifted them with sisters, brothers, and a pack of kids - and the rest of us got a decent set of parents/grandparents - good all the way around.
She has been in SCA for years and is the first mate, head cook, quartermaster, etc on the pirate ship NeNe (captained by her husband). In her other life, she has a BA in Music (opera, even) - which comes in enormously handy when we are filking...
Every piece from Lolly's kiln or needle is filled with her love of life and nature and genuine awe of the magic of the creative spark.

Lolly crafts in clay and is our mistress of the kiln. She makes beads and jewely, writing pens, and totally silly sculptures (the best kind) of gaming or pirate themes. Lolly is also an accomplished seamstress, she designs and makes garb pieces, accessories, and other costuming.
The creativity for her more serious work is inspired by the people around her, especially family (I think we inspire the silly stuff, too - we definitely encourage it - loudly!)
