Some days, it's all about the attitude
Lady Rowan is head of Clan Stormdancer. She keeps the Clan mostly organized, usually focused, and frequently laughing.
Rowan is third generation off the boat from Sweden, grew up in the California Bay Area near Berkeley, and has since lived in Europe for 10 years, in the mountains of Colorado for 10 years, and pretty much all over the States.
She has been handcrafting for nearly 40 years and working with herbs for decades. She is the creator of Faerie Spirit and of Stormdancer Scents, her own line of fragrances.
Rowan currently lives in St Charles MO, married to her high school sweetheart, but Stormy's job will relocate them to Wichita Kansas in the near future, next move will be to Colorado. HUZZAH!
ahhh...

Rowan has worked many jobs since high school. She has tutored English and Trig at the local college, been a Sales Manager, clothing designer, Girl Friday at a CPA firm, freelance writer (she did crossword puzzles for a local paper and was in the Jovialis Writing Group, working for Bard), a soft sculpture toy and doll maker, helped create the Arcane Attic, a traveling storefront that worked Ren Faires, fantasy conventions and RPG events.
She created the Faerie Spirit label for her herbal line and worked faires all over Colorado and Wyoming. Before leaving Colorado, she hosted the Faerie Spirit and Friends Psychic Faires 4 times a year in Colorado Springs. She still teaches energy working and basic spirituality classes, mostly online as she is constantly traveling.
A few years back, the Whos Who folks decided that they had too many "ivy tower" types in their publications and added an "eclectic blend" of other folks. By virtue of her one a time ancient recipe herbals and her company not folding, Rowan is listed in many Whos Who editions, including American Women, in Science and Engineering, and in the World Millenium edition.
These days, Rowan is busy with crafting again, web designing, faires, and going where the Clan needs her. She is lucky enough to be blessed with a husband who supports this lifestyle so much that his gift to her on her 52nd birthday was a cyber green New Beetle (named Journey) with daisy mags and an extended warranty so he doesn't worry so much when she is on the road.
